Golf is coming back! In these dark times we have a glimmer of hope. I guess I should write about missing more sports because only a few days after Post 4 this miracle happens. The PGA has announced their schedule starting tournaments again in mid June. Starting the weekend of June 11th and lasting until December 11th.

So what does this mean? Well it means golf all fall which will be so interesting to see who excels in the different types of conditions we will see. Also that means the Masters will happen this year. I wish they would’ve put it over thanksgiving to be honest but it is November 11th which is will still give us something exciting in November to look forward to.

How is this possible? Essentially the PGA is hoping that the states the tournaments are in will let them put these tournaments on by the time they come around. Also, it was announced that the first four tournaments are probably going to be spectator free.

Spectator free is an interesting topic. I may expand on this in a future post but for golf I don’t think it’s a big issue. Other sports however would be so odd. I think that crowd noise and crowd motivation is something that can really turn a game around.

Well that’s all for today if anyone has anything else they want me to write about feel free to message me if you want! Thanks for reading!

Post 4

To be fair I’m a little behind on the topic of this post but it’s something I’ve been thinking about for a while.

The Masters is a yearly tradition that is on par with the Super Bowl for me and this year we didn’t get a chance to watch that. This is especially rough because of how exciting it was that Tiger Woods won last year. So, after one of the most exciting Masters tournaments in my life it is now taken away from us.

Let’s talk about the last time there was no Masters. The year was 1945 and the tournament wasn’t put on from 1943-45 because of World War II. I never thought in my life would we see a time where this beloved tournament is canceled.

I guess this is more of a reminiscing post because the Masters is also something me and my father watch together. I’m sure like many Americans sports is something shared with my dad and so especially right now we are in difficult times without sports.

My prediction for this years green jacket winner I think will be Brooks Koepka. The guy is a beast hitting the golf ball and so much fun to watch. Now this is all assuming the tournament happens this year still and isn’t canceled for good.

Well that is all for now I know golf isn’t the most exciting sport in the world but it’s one I really enjoy so if anyone wants more golf stuff or anything else let me know. Thanks for reading!
